App privacy details are part of the App Store product page. They are not marketing copy, but they do affect trust before install.
What Apple expects
Apple says you need to provide information about your app privacy practices, including third-party partners whose code you integrate. You are responsible for keeping those answers accurate and up to date.
What counts as collection
Apple defines collection as transmitting data off the device in a way that allows you or a third-party partner to access it for longer than is necessary to service the request in real time.
Why screenshot tools should care
If your app uploads screenshots, photos, voice recordings, support messages, or diagnostics, map those flows before filling the form. If a tool truly processes assets only on device, say that in product copy and make sure the implementation matches it.
Source notes
Apple's app privacy details page documents developer responsibility, third-party partner disclosure, data type examples, and the definition of collection.
