Questions

Frequently asked

Are these real Apple / Samsung device renders?+

No — every frame is drawn in code as a generic device silhouette (rounded body, screen window, minimal bezel details). This keeps the bundle small and sidesteps any trademark concern around photorealistic renders of specific phones.

Why transparent backgrounds?+

Product pages, docs, and marketing slides usually compose mockups on top of their own colored hero section. Shipping with a transparent background lets you drop the PNG onto any canvas without having to mask it. Turn on solid or gradient for standalone social posts.

What's 1× vs 2× vs 3×?+

1× is the frame's native pixel dimensions; 2× and 3× multiply both axes for retina and ultra-retina surfaces. Use 2× for web retina hero images and 3× for print or ultra-dense Apple displays.

Does the screenshot get cropped?+

It's rendered with xMidYMid slice — centered, with overflow clipped to the screen rectangle. If your screenshot's aspect ratio differs from the device, the edges get trimmed rather than stretched.
